At YU HOME, we stand behind the quality and durability of our Automatic Laundry Systems. Our YU.Care warranty offers peace of mind, ensuring that your system is protected against defects in materials and workmanship.
Complimentary Warranty Coverage:
- 2 Years: Covers all parts, labor, service, and transport costs.
- 5 Years: Extended coverage for the motor.
During the first 2 years, there will be no charges for service or transport, unless the system malfunction is due to any of the instances listed below that are not covered under the warranty.
After Warranty Expires:
If your complimentary warranty has expired, YU HOME offers continued support. For each service visit related to the same issue, a one-time transport and service fee will apply, with a 3-month warranty on the same problem following the repair. For any necessary part replacements, an additional charge for the equipment will apply.
Warranty Terms:
The warranty applies to YU HOME Automatic Laundry Systems and covers defects due to faulty materials or workmanship under normal installation and usage conditions. YU HOME reserves the right to decide whether to repair or replace defective parts during the warranty period. This also includes logistics and transport costs associated with the servicing.
Repairs typically take between 2 to 6 working days, depending on technician availability. Any repaired product or part will continue to be covered under the original warranty for the remainder of its term.
What Is Not Covered by Our Warranty:
This warranty covers defects caused by faulty parts or workmanship under normal use. The following instances are not covered:
Remote Controller Batteries: Battery replacements for the remote controller are not included.
Consumable Items: Items like the remote controller, which naturally wear out over time, are excluded from the warranty.
Misuse or Abuse:
- Overextending the poles beyond their designed limits or causing contact with objects.
- Dropping the remote controller.
- Failing to properly maintain or service the system as recommended.
Normal Wear and Tear: Cosmetic issues such as scratches or other forms of normal wear and tear are not covered.
Electrical Damage: Damage caused by power surges, electrical storms, or an incorrect power supply is excluded.
Third-Party Repairs or Modifications: Unauthorized disassembly, modifications, or repairs by individuals other than YU HOME-certified technicians void the warranty.
Improper Operation: Using the system outside of its intended purpose or ignoring operational guidelines voids the warranty.
Pest Infestation: Damage caused by insects, vermin, or similar pests is excluded.
Accidental or Negligent Damage: Damage resulting from accidents or negligence, such as improper handling or care, is not covered.
Exterior Damage: Damage caused by exposure to chemical fumes, sharp objects, or other harsh elements is not covered.
Important Usage Notes:
- When performing a “Gentle Lift” on the Automated Laundry System (ALS), ensure that the stainless steel rope remains in its designated path. If the rope shifts to the opposite side, it may get damaged by the scissor mechanism, resulting in misuse-related damage.
- After each use, always return the pole to its designated slot to prevent it from shifting and becoming stuck in the scissor mechanism. Failure to do so may result in physical damage, which will be classified as misuse.
How do I extend my warranty?
You can extend your warranty upon checkout. Simply add to your cart. YU.Care can also be purchased within 2 years from the date of installation.
Do I need to provide proof of warranty when requesting for service?
A copy of your original receipt and physical inspection is required to claim the warranty.
